MUHS students started their day catching pancakes! You heard that correctly, pancakes were literally flipped to the students. Students then heard from Mrs. Mumau and a group of students about building a community of learners who are safe, responsible, and ready to learn. Finally, students heard from Mr. David Trichel, from Focus 3, about leadership, initiative, and focus towards the future! A key take-a-way from Mr. Trichel is that everything in life is training for something.
The following message is from Milton-Union High School:

Please read the following as there are changes to graduation activities as of today, May 25, 2021:
In the event of inclement weather on Friday evening that would prevent us from hosting Commencement for the Class of 2021 outdoors at Memorial Stadium, we will move the ceremony indoors to the Milton-Union Gymnasium.
Several of our graduates have recently qualified for regional tournaments that are scheduled to take place during our original rain date of Saturday, May 29 at 2:00pm. We would like to be able to celebrate as many graduates as possible, which is the reason for potentially moving indoors on Friday evening.
If the weather is questionable, graduates and their families will be notified by 4:30pm on Friday, May 28, 2021 of the location of the commencement ceremony via a one-text, social media, and the MUHS website.
At either location, families of graduates are required to sit together in socially distanced pods and wear masks. The gate at the Memorial Stadium/doors to the Athletic Entrance will open at 5:00pm. All guests need a ticket to enter.
Additionally, all school fees, books, library books, computers, chargers, and parking passes must be turned in to the high school office by 3:00pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021.
Please contact Mrs. Mumau at mumauj@muschools.com with questions.
We look forward to celebrating the Class of 2021!
