On Saturday, May 11th the Milton-Union MVCTC FFA Chapter hosted their Annual Parent-Member Banquet where we welcomed over 180 parents, members, and special guests. During the evening members were recognized for achievements such as class leadership awards, CDE participation, and chapter proficiency awards. Discovery, Greenhand, and Chapter degrees were bestowed upon our middle school members, first year members, and second year members respectively. Additionally, three Honorary Chapter Degrees were awarded to Mrs. Jessica Deeter, Mr. Sam Watson, and Mr. Kurtis Brackman. The newly elected officer team was also installed during the banquet as follows: Prescient- Sophia Luciano, Vice President- Emersyn Freisthler, Secretary- Tessah Perkins, Treasurer- Addy Bechtel, Reporter- Luke Jones, and Sentinel- Eli Deeter. We would also like to extend a special thank you to our Banquet Donors: Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, Hissong Family Farms, Karen and Jack Wellbaum, Kress Farms, and Mary K. Miller. Our banquet would not be possible without their generous contributions.

(MUHS Announcement) May 6th and 7th, MUHS ONLY will operate on a two-hour delay schedule to accommodate our annual state testing for all Freshmen, Sophomores and select students. • MVCTC buses will run at their normal times on these dates. • Milton-Union buses will run at their normal times. Students who cannot secure a ride for the two-hour delay can report at the normal time and will be supervised in a designated area at the school. • Students will need their school devices fully charged in order to take the test. • Students will need to turn in any electronic devices in the testing room but may bring a graphing calculator. • Snacks and drinks are also permissible for breaks.

Students from Ms. Black's STEM classes toured Sinclair’s Automation & Robotics and Mechanical Engineering Technology departments. Students were able hydro-dip wooden guitars and they built little fidget gears with the mechanical engineering department and they saw full-sized FANUC robots in the automation & robotics lab!
