🌊🎨 Mrs. Bellas' art classes have been making a splash! Third-grade students, along with a group of sixth graders, have spent the past few weeks learning about sea turtles and other ocean creatures. 🐢✨
Not only did they create stunning drawings, but they also sculpted shallow dishes and clay sea turtles. By glazing their pieces and adding blue glass marbles before firing them in the kiln, they achieved a beautiful blue "water" effect in their creations. 🌟🔥
Amazing work, artists! Families, be sure to admire these ocean-inspired masterpieces! 🐠💙
Congratulations to our December Bulldogs of the Month! 🎉
We are so proud of our students for demonstrating Awesome D.O.G.S Expectations! Awesome DOGS do their best, show outstanding citizenship, make good choices and show safety first. 🐾❤️🖤
Have a wonderful break! We will see our students back on January 6th!

Thanksgiving may be over, but our hearts and bellies are still full from the Thanksgiving Kindergarten feast! Our students had the best time breaking bread together. We are so grateful for all the families who supported by cooking, cleaning and organizing. And a big thanks to the Kindergarten teaching team for creating special memories for our youngest Bulldogs.

Our third-grade students had an owlsome visit from Brukner Nature Center! 🦉 They learned all about the fascinating adaptations of owls—exploring their wings, talons, and skulls while listening to the unique calls of Ohio’s owls.
The highlight? Meeting Rufus, a real Screech Owl! 💫 Students also had a hands-on experience dissecting owl pellets and identifying the bones they found. Such a unique way to connect science and nature!
A big thank you to the MU Education Foundation for making this unforgettable learning experience possible! ❤️
